There’s snow on the ground. Your grass is dead. You don’t have any leaves on your trees. Is now the time to sell your home in Colorado Springs?Often, our clients think the warmer months are the best time to sell.Traditionally, that’s correct, but the market has changed drastically. That’s not always the case anymore. Here’s why:
  • There are serious buyers looking. There are people willing to tough through the cold weather. You can eliminate window-shoppers from the process.
  • There is a lot less competition now. There are fewer homes on the market, so that means there’s less competition. You have a better chance to sell quickly and for top dollar this time of year.
  • It’s a good time to move up. If you’re thinking about buying a home worth more, now is the time to act. I don’t have a crystal ball, but I can tell you prices will go up next year. Interest rates will increase! If you wait, the price only rises.
  • There’s a lot of buyers out there! In 2015, El Paso County had the most amount of buyers compared to any other year. They’re still out there searching for their dream home, which could be yours.
It’s a great time to sell in Colorado Springs. If you’re thinking about buying or selling a home today, give me a call or send me an email today! I’m happy to help and serve your real estate needs.
